I generated the financial analysis worksheet using excel. I was new to this program so there was some introducing and touring to be done. I was first skeptical about using it in fear of losing valuable information or not using it properly. Over time I was able to better navigate through the system and learn tricks of the trade.
The major resource that I used was the Microsoft Office System. This piece of material came with the microsoft CD-Rom purchased a year ago. This pamphlet was useful for many reasons but mostly because it showed me how to navigate the tools and use them appropriately.
Another resource that I used included http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/default.aspx?ofcresset=1. This website allowed for questions and additional resources. At times this tool was helpful but I would recommend a website that was used for resources and assistance only, not one whose main goal is to sale merchandise.
The tools listed above were used to learn how to navigate excel. I also used many tools to find what kind of time is needed to train for a marathon, what items need to be purchased, what items were cost beneficial but at the same time high quality. Some information was found from http://www.marathonguide.com/. This specific website gave great insights about different types of marathons around the world and how marathons came to be. To conquer this first goal I want to run the marathon in my home town but through my research I read about marathons all over the United States that I would like to be a part of.
I plan on using the informative websites about marathon running. I don’t plan on using Microsoft excel for financial analysis. I am used to paying bills through snail mail and bankind on-line. I keep track of my monthly bills in a three part spiral notebook and this seems to work for my husband and I. When we begin a family and start to have investments I can see myself branching out to a source such as Microsoft Excel.
